Jones Senior Volleyball Sweeps Sallie B. Howard

The Jones Senior Trojans girls volleyball team earned a decisive 3-0 victory over Sallie B. Howard on Monday night in a non-conference match at home.

Jones Senior controlled the match from the start, winning the sets 25-9, 25-5 and 25-11. The Trojans improved to 1-1 on the season, while Sallie B. Howard fell to 0-1.

Harper Woolard led Jones Senior with 4 kills, and Toriana King posted a perfect 1.000 hitting percentage. The Trojans finished with 13 kills and an impressive 35 service aces as a team.

The strong serving performance helped Jones Senior keep Sallie B. Howard off balance throughout the match. The Trojans will look to build on the win as they continue early-season non-conference play.
