Jones Senior Soccer Remains Unbeaten with 2-1 Win Over Rosewood

TRENTON, N.C. — The Jones Senior Trojans boys soccer team stayed perfect on the season with a 2-1 non-conference victory over Rosewood on Wednesday night at home.

After a scoreless first half, Jones Senior found the net twice in the second half to secure the win. The Trojans improved to 4-0, while Rosewood fell to 1-1.

Joseph Sanchez led the way for Jones Senior with both goals. Capen Sill added an assist, and goalkeeper Jesstin Crump made seven saves in the victory.

Erick Zavala scored the lone goal for Rosewood, with Collin Gardner recording the assist.

Jones Senior will look to extend its unbeaten streak as it continues early-season play.
