Jones Senior Volleyball Sweeps Washington Montessori for Third Win

WASHINGTON, N.C. — The Jones Senior Trojans girls volleyball team posted a dominant 3-0 non-conference victory over Washington Montessori on Thursday night.

Jones Senior took the sets 25-17, 25-13 and 25-12 to improve to 3-1 on the season. Washington Montessori fell to 0-4.

Sophomore outside hitter Skylar Anderson led the Trojans with 8 kills and a match-high 8 service aces. Junior middle hitter Toriana King added 4 kills and 2 total blocks while hitting .250. Senior Alondra Hernandez Martinez contributed 5 aces, and Harper Woolard and Hillary Salinas each recorded 15 digs.

As a team, Jones Senior finished with 20 kills, 18 service aces, 2 total blocks and 56 digs.
