New Bern Soccer Blanks West Carteret 3-0

MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. — The New Bern Bears boys soccer team remained undefeated with a solid 3-0 non-conference victory over West Carteret on Tuesday night.

New Bern scored once in the first half and added two more goals in the second half to improve to 2-0 on the season. West Carteret fell to 1-2.

David Say, Spencer Goodwin and Dauny Rosales each scored a goal for the Bears. Grant Leary led the attack with two assists, while Chris Htoo added one assist.

Goalkeepers Damien Corona (two saves) and Jack Messer (one save) combined for the shutout.
